A Brief History of the
Recovery Church Movement
Recovery Church Ministries EIN (81-2100151) was started as a small independent Church in Lake Worth, Florida. This church became known as Recovery Church Lake Worth.
After a few years, an initiative was birthed by Recovery Church Ministries called Recovery Church Movement. Over time the impact and reach of the Recovery Church Movement continued to grow. It became essential for Recovery Church Movement to become its own non-profit.
Recovery Church Movement Trust EIN (84-3049061) was formed. We filed and received a 501c3 for the new organization in 2020. So, what began as a ministry of Recovery Church Ministry is now its own Non-Profit 501c3 Recovery Church Movement Trust.
Recovery Church Movement Trust (RCM) is the Non-Profit Christian governing body of a network of Recovery Churches. The association of churches is reaching and training those in early recovery to grow in their faith and recovery. RCM is a bridge between the 12-Step Fellowships and the Church. We train, coach, and help people learn to become disciple-makers within the recovery community and start, plant, and reproduce Recovery Churches.
