Dreams...

Last night I had several dreams that I was using. Usually when I have those dreams I wake up wanting to use. In the dreams, I was worried about my husband and mother-in-law knowing I was high, I was trying to hide myself from them...it SUCKED!!!

The dreams actually reinforced my NOT wanting to use because thats how it would be, a constant worry about being caught. The way I see it, the "Monster" was TRYING to find a weakness in my mind, trying to get me to use, but it BACKFIRED!!!!!! I feel stronger today than I did yesterday!!!!!! :flowerface:

Good for you, Slvr! I don't know much about this, but know my daughter has them sometimes. Alot when she first quit, much less now. Glad you woke up from that nightmare and didn't let it get you. :You_Rock_Emoticon:

How long has your daughter been clean? Was meth her problem??

I used to have them a lot. Now just every so often. And I freak out when I do wake up.
They used to trigger me, but now I want to throw up when I have them usually.
Although my hands get a bit shaky still when I wake up and remember them, it's very weird.

You're doing good Slvr! I've had those dreams too, but my addiction isn't meth. They're scarey, but they've reinforced my sobriety. Remember that they're just dreams.

I've had my share of crack dreams. You're not alone in this my friend. But you CAN get thru this. And they get more and more scarce with time....
